About Us
The Particle Research Group provides data services to give your trading company a competitive edge in today's volatile market. Our platform, the Advanced Trade Lands Analytics System (ATLAS), provides real-time market data from TLO and popular channels including Bid & Barter and TLA. The alpha version of ATLAS will release sometime midsummer, with pre-alpha access granted to select users. Some planned features include:
- Live Market Data Feed: Access up-to-the-minute information on bids, asks, and trading volumes for various commodities.
- Historical Price Charts and Data: Analyze trends and make informed decisions with downloadable historical data.
- Customizable Alerts: Set personalized alerts for specific market conditions, such as price thresholds or sudden changes in trading activity.
- User-Friendly Interface: The ATLAS platform will be accessible via a Discord server/bots.
After the alpha version is released, we also plan to provide some quality-of-life tools integrated directly into the market like:
- Trade Assistant: When looking at an item listing, automatically pull historical listing data and other valuable insights about that item.
- Net Worth Tracker: Track your net worth using live market prices and gauge your historical performance.
- Trade Logging System: Log your trades to identify your biggest wins/losses and view your personal trading activity insights.
- Custom Item Alerts: Receive notifcations for when specific items are listed.
Example Usecases
A firm with a lot of liquid DB on hand was looking to invest. Using the ATLAS system it was able to find an item with thin market depth within its budget — it quickly purchased all the recent listings and cornered the market. The next few weeks, now having purchased the cheaper listings, the firm was able to mark up its price.
Johnny has an hour to play Tradelands, and really needs to make progress towards getting his Wyvern. Using the ATLAS Profit Tool, which shows the hourly estimated profit of mining, logging, and fishing based on real-time market listings, Johnny decided on fishing because there was a flurry of traderunners looking to go to Burke that evening.
Max is always told by Marty that investing all of his money in a certain item is not that profitable. Because he diligently uses the ATLAS Trade Logging System for recordkeeping, he is able to view insights about his trade activity including profit/loss, average time to sell, and other metrics which prove Marty wrong. Because the ATLAS Trade Logging System is directly linked to the Net Worth Tracker, he can easily pull up his net worth and flex it on Marty.
